This TVA map of Wears Valley area based on a field examination in 1936 by Albert Pike, Division Engineer.  Blue Springs Way was referred to in older deeds as “Old Blue Springs Road.”  The County renamed it Blue Springs Way when it developed its 911 system.  Sevier County calls privately maintained public roads  “Ways.”
